To the original purchaser, Tennessee Trailers, warrants each new Tennessee Trailer to be free from defect in materials and workmanship for a period of two (2) years from the date of purchase when used under normal conditions and within the rated load carrying capacities. Tennessee Trailers shall repair or replace, without charge, any parts found to be defective because of workmanship or materials within a reasonable time after the trailer is returned at purchaser's expense to Tennessee Trailers. WHAT IS NOT COVERED: Provisions of this warranty shall not apply to product which has been found to have been altered or modified in any way. Nor shall the warranty apply to any defect or malfunction which is caused by damage, unreasonable use, or failure to provide reasonable and NECESSARY maintenance. The warranty will not cover damage caused by overloading the trailer beyond stated capacities or the use of improperly installed weight distribution hitches in conjunction with hydraulic surge brakes. Due to the highly corrosive conditions a trailer is exposed to, rust formation is not covered. The warranty does not cover lights, couplers, winches, tongue jacks, springs, and tires or wheels, as these items are warranted separately by their manufacturer. 

No transportation charge or related expense, labor, service charges, or unauthorized replacement or repairs will be paid by Tennessee Trailers.

It is the responsibility of the purchaser to complete the registration within 15 days of the time of the purchase  of the trailer. 

5-YEAR BUMPER-TO-BUMPER LIMITED WARRANTY

1 Year No Excuses | 5 Years Limited Component Coverage | 2 Years Roadside Assistance

Every eligible new Tennessee Trailer includes a five-year bumper-to-bumper limited warranty at no additional charge. For the first 12 months, all factory-installed trailer components receive enhanced No Excuses protection. From purchase through month 60, all original factory-installed components also receive limited coverage for defects in materials and workmanship, subject to the terms below. Two years of complimentary roadside assistance are included separately.

“Bumper-to-bumper” describes the breadth of the covered trailer components; it does not mean unlimited replacement for wear, damage or every service expense. This is a LIMITED WARRANTY, not a Full Warranty.

· Coverage starts on the original retail purchase date; proof of purchase and the VIN may be required.

· Applies to the original retail purchaser of a new eligible Tennessee Trailer only; it is not transferable.

· All periods run concurrently. Repair or replacement does not restart the original 60-month term.

During the first 12 months, Tennessee Trailers will provide one replacement part for each original factory-installed component that fails, whether the cause is a manufacturing defect, accidental damage or operator error. The owner is not required to prove a manufacturing defect. The benefit applies to axles, running gear, lights, wiring, jacks, winches, couplers, brakes where equipped, suspension, frame, structural welds, paint/coatings, wheels, tires and factory-installed accessories. Each original component is eligible for one No Excuses replacement; replacement components do not receive a new No Excuses entitlement. This benefit provides replacement parts only; labor and related service expenses are not included. Paint and coating coverage is expressly limited to qualifying paint-system failures as described in Section 5; cosmetic wear and discoloration are excluded even during the No Excuses year.

No Excuses coverage does not apply to theft, intentional destruction, vandalism or other exclusions expressly stated in this agreement. Normal wear and routine consumable replacement are not covered. During the first year, the No Excuses Warranty covers accidental damage and operator error, even when the failure is not caused by a manufacturing defect, subject to the exclusions listed in this agreement.

Each original tire position is eligible for ONE replacement tire during the first 12 months for qualifying accidental road-hazard damage, including a puncture, roadway cut or impact-related blowout. This counts toward the one No Excuses replacement for that original tire position; replacement does not reset eligibility. A comparable tire size and load rating will be supplied. Tire mounting, balancing, installation and other labor or service costs are not covered. Ordinary tread wear and intentional damage remain excluded.

All original factory-installed components remain covered for manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship under normal, intended use for five years from retail purchase. Examples include axles, bearings/hubs, suspension, brakes where installed, frame and structural welds, paint and coatings, lights, wiring, jacks, winches, wheels, tires, couplers and factory-installed accessories. Coverage does not guarantee a five-year useful life or ordinary wear-free operation.

During the entire five-year warranty term, Tennessee Trailers supplies approved replacement parts (or functionally equivalent parts) for eligible claims. No labor coverage is provided in any year. Removal, diagnosis, installation, mounting, balancing and other labor or service expenses are the owner’s responsibility. Standard ground shipping of approved replacement parts within the contiguous United States is included. An applicable supplier warranty may separately offer additional benefits, subject to that supplier’s terms.

Paint and protective coatings: Throughout the five-year warranty period, coverage is limited to a failure of the original factory-applied paint or coating system caused by defective materials, surface preparation or application. Qualifying paint-system failures may include peeling, flaking, blistering or delamination resulting from loss of coating adhesion. Normal use and environmental exposure can cause chips, scratches, abrasions, fading, color changes or discoloration; these cosmetic conditions are not covered. Damage caused by road debris, loading and unloading, salt, chemicals, pressure washing, impact, corrosion from external exposure, or inadequate maintenance is excluded unless an original paint-system defect is established. Tire coverage during months 13-60 is limited to manufacturing defects; road hazards and normal tread wear are excluded.

For the first 24 months, the trailer includes complimentary third-party roadside assistance, intended to support confident travel and coordinate help for eligible trailer-related breakdowns and flat tires. Specific towing mileage, service caps, geographic areas, availability and exclusions are governed by the Roadside Assistance Benefit Schedule supplied with the trailer. Assistance is not a promise of unrestricted towing, unlimited replacement parts or guaranteed arrival times.

Applicable original component-manufacturer warranties remain in effect under their own terms. Tennessee Trailers is the customer’s single point of contact for warranty claims and may coordinate manufacturer claims or seek supplier reimbursement. Where a manufacturer’s warranty expires before the fifth anniversary of the original retail purchase, Tennessee Trailers provides the balance of the five-year limited replacement-parts coverage for eligible defects in materials or workmanship. The manufacturer’s warranty expiration, denial, or failure to reimburse Tennessee Trailers does not reduce the five-year component protection expressly promised in this agreement. The owner may also exercise any separate rights provided by the manufacturer’s warranty. Tennessee Trailers does not pay for labor, diagnosis, removal, installation, mounting, balancing, or associated service expenses at any time under its warranty. The same failure cannot receive duplicate replacement or payment.

Owners must operate within the trailer GVWR and component ratings, secure and distribute loads correctly, maintain tire inflation, inspect lights/couplers/safety equipment, service bearings and brakes, and prevent further damage after a known failure. Improper maintenance is grounds to deny a particular claim only when it caused or contributed to that failure.

This warranty does not cover routine maintenance; consumable wear (including tire tread, brake friction material, worn strap webbing or lubricants); ordinary cosmetic deterioration; theft; intentional damage; vandalism; or other exclusions expressly stated here. During years 2–5, failures resulting from accidental damage, collision, overloading, improper use, external environmental causes or causally related improper repairs or modifications are not covered under the manufacturing-defect warranty. These years 2–5 exclusions do not narrow the separate first-year No Excuses benefit for covered accidental damage or operator error. Commercial/rental-use eligibility: [Define before issuance].

All warranty claims must be submitted through the Warranty page on the Tennessee Trailers website. Each claim must include photographs clearly showing the reported issue or damage, along with the purchaser name, trailer VIN, original purchase information and a description of the problem. A claim lacking the required submission or photographs may be considered incomplete until the missing information is provided. If the trailer presents a safety concern, stop using it until the issue is evaluated. This claims procedure applies to warranty replacement-parts claims; roadside assistance requests follow the assistance provider’s separate service procedures. Any mandatory rights under applicable law remain unaffected.

To the extent permitted by law, incidental or consequential losses such as lost use, lodging, towing not covered by the assistance plan or lost income are excluded. Applicable state law may prohibit some limitations. This warranty does not waive non-excludable consumer rights or implied-warranty remedies. Final implied-warranty language, warrantor identification, commercial eligibility and disclosures must be completed and reviewed before use. This warranty gives you specific legal rights; you may also have other rights that vary by state.
